Wild Betta species. Biotope fish with fascinating natural behaviours, different from the farmed Betta Splendens.

Over 70 wild species: B. imbellis (pacific), B. mahachaiensis (brackish), B. albimarginata, B. macrostoma (the king of wild Bettas).

Many species are oral brooders. They require soft, acidic water, aquariums planted with tannins and floating plants.
