75 GPD membranes are the most common. Duration: 2-3 years. Replace when output TDS exceeds 10-15 ppm.
Prefilters (sediment and carbon) must be changed every 6-12 months to protect the membrane from chlorine. The produced/waste water ratio is 1:3 or 1:4.
