Management of starfish in the aquarium

Starfish are fascinating but challenging. Serpentine stars are the most suitable for the reef.

Detailed explanation

Serpentines (Ophiuridae) are excellent for the reef. Fromia and Linckia are beautiful but delicate: acclimatization of 2-3 hours by drop.

Asterinas reproduce spontaneously. The Chocolate Chip Starfish is NOT reef safe: it eats coral.
